Why I Started DrapeStories by Arpita

DrapeStories began with something very simple: a love for sarees.

Not just for how they look, but for what they represent.

A saree has an extraordinary ability to become part of our memories. It is present at celebrations, milestones, family gatherings, festivals, and even ordinary days that somehow become unforgettable.

Over time, I realized that every saree carries a story.

Some remind us of our mothers and grandmothers. Some mark important chapters in our lives. Some make us feel confident, elegant, nostalgic, or simply more like ourselves.

That belief became the foundation of DrapeStories by Arpita.

I wanted to create more than a store. I wanted to create a thoughtfully curated space where women could discover sarees that resonate with who they are and how they want to feel.

Every piece is chosen with care. Every collection is curated with intention.
